The University Psychological Counseling Department at Al-Sibtain University organized an awareness activity on the occasion of the International Breast Cancer Awareness Month on 28 October 2024, under the slogan “Get Screened… for Peace of Mind.” The activity focused on the importance of early detection in increasing the chances of recovery and included awareness lectures, the distribution of health brochures, and open discussions with specialists in psychological and physical health to promote a comprehensive understanding of the disease. The event also highlighted the psychological aspects experienced by patients and the importance of family and community support, with the aim of promoting a culture of regular screening among female students and the university community as a whole
