With the Dignity of Knowledge and the Nobility of Mission Al-Subtain University Participates in the Unified Iraqi Universities’ Mourning Procession

Al-Subtain University for Medical Sciences participated, represented by its President, faculty members, and students, in the Unified Iraqi Universities’ Mourning Procession, a solemn event that reflects the enduring connection between the humanitarian mission of education and the values inspired by Imam Hussein (peace be upon him).


The University’s contingent, comprising the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Midwifery, and Medical Rehabilitation, joined the unified procession, which concluded at the Holy Imam Hussein Shrine with a commemorative mourning gathering. Inspired by the shared principles of service and the alleviation of suffering—values that unite the medical profession with the University’s humanitarian mission—the event also witnessed broad participation from delegations representing Iraqi universities, symbolizing academic solidarity and unity.
